Marston 50+ group meets each Thursday afternoon from 2 – 4pm. They have been running for a number of years and have about 40 members on their books and 30 turning up regularly each week to socialise. Their current secretary is due to step down at Christmas time, and they are keen to welcome somebody into the role in preparation to take over. As Secretary you are responsible for planning the weekly programme of events and guest speakers – but there’s plenty of volunteers to support you, especially as you settle into the role.
