Who is the role for: Abingdon Explorer Scouts Unit

When does the role take place: Weekday evenings and occasional weekends. We have a range of vacancies to suit any time commitments and can be flexible with hours to work around you.

Where does the volunteering take place: In and around Abingdon

What the role involves: Enabling young people to take part in various activities from cooking to canoeing, wheel barrow races to hiking and debates.

Why you should sign up: If you want a new challenge or just to help out for a few hours a month with paperwork to being a leader.

Skills required: Just enthusiasm and a willingness to try new things and share your skills. All equipment is provided.

As you will be working with  young people, a DBS check and references are required. Expenses are paid. You will receive ongoing training.
