What is the role: Visitor Service Volunteers

Who is the role for: Modern Art Oxford

When does the volunteering take place: For the duration of the next exhibition: Future Knowledge, 19th May – 25th June. We ask for a commitment of 4 hours a week between these dates.

Where does the volunteering take place: At Museum of Modern Art, Oxford, OX1 1BP

What the role involves: As a Visitor Service Volunteer you will welcome visitors, talk to them about the exhibition, collect feedback and help to look after the artwork.

Why you should sign up: This is a chance to get involved with our exciting new exhibition. The Future Knowledge exhibition invites visitors to participate, offers new perspectives on Oxford and future possibilities for city life. If you enjoy art, meeting new people and working as part of a team, then we want to hear from you!

Skills required for this role: We are hoping to hear from warm, friendly and enthusiastic people.

References are required  for this role as you will be working with members of the public and representing the museum. 

A maximum of £5 per day will be reimbursed for travel expenses for you to get to the gallery from your home and back. 

You will be provided with an induction and including a welcome tour and briefing about the exhibition.
