Who is the role for: Arts at the Old Fire Station

When does the volunteering take place: 3rd – 7th April. You can sign up for 3 half days or the whole thing – it’s up to you. 

Where does the volunteering take place: The Old Fire Station, George Street

What the role involves: Marmalade is a 4-day conference in which social change and friendship collide.   Marmalade is the informal, dynamic, free and open-access fringe event to the Skoll World Forum on Social Entrepreneurship. See www.marmalade.io

As a volunteer steward you will be involved with welcoming speakers and participants, setting up rooms and assisting with fire evacuation if required.

Why you should sign up: Marmalade needs volunteers passionate about social justice to make it the event the world needs right now. Volunteering at Marmalade is a chance to be part of something that aims to address these issues both locally and globally.

 

Skills required: We ask for our volunteers to be reliable, thoughtful and enthusiastic. We will provide you with all the training you need to volunteer with us.

One references is required for this role. You are asked to provide a minimum of 3 half days or 2 full days over the course of the event. Refreshments and travel costs are covered.
