What is the role: The Oxford Macular Support Group is a self-help group for people affected by Macular Degeneration in Oxford. They are looking for a new group leader, treasurer and general volunteers.
When does the volunteering take place: There are 4 meetings a year on the last Thursday of the month. Each meeting is 2 hours in length.
Where: North Oxford Association Community Centre, Diamond Place, Summertown, OX2 7DP
What the role involves: By being a part of the committee you will help to run the local support group.
Leader: General asmin tasks, booking speakers and co-ordianting meetings
Treasurer: Collecting money for rent and refreshments etc.
Administration skills and being comfortable using a computer would be an advantage for these roles.
