Recruiting NOW!

Folk Weekend:Oxford returns on 21st-23rd April 2017 for another weekend of concerts, dance and folk festival fun! The weekend keeps expanding, with more venues and events than ever before. That means that we need a large number of stewards to join our volunteer family behind the scenes to help things to run smoothly, from checking tickets to looking after the artists.

We can’t run the weekend without our volunteers. In return for working two four-hour shifts each steward will get:
• a free weekend season ticket
• an invite to the exclusive Folk Weekend after-show party
• are included in our wrist-band holders discount scheme giving you money-off with selected retailers during the festival
One-day stewarding options are also available.

We also offer training opportunities for stewards who wish to take up more senior or technical roles, such as venue management or stage management.

We are so excited by the 2017 line up, headlined by the fantastic Nancy Kerr & James Fagan, who return to Folk Weekend both as a duo and to launch the new album from the Melrose Quartet. FWO first-timer Jim Moray headlines Friday night, and we are delighted to welcome Leveret to close the main stage on Sunday. We also to welcome Ange Hardy, Jackie Oates & Megan Henwood, John Spiers, Dan Walsh, Dipper Malkin, Jimmy Aldridge & Sid Goldsmith, The Emily Askew Band, The Discussion Topic, and LOADS MORE!
