What is the role: Practical wildlife conservation work
Who for: Shotover Wildlife
When: Sessions happen on the 2nd Sunday of every month

What is involved: There are a range of tasks available from helping to restore wildlife habitats using hand tools; to clearing vegetation, light tree felling, digging, raking and more!
Why you should sign up: This role is an opportunity to work as part of a team to contribute to wildlife health and diversity. At the same time you will be getting exercise in the fresh air and learning more about plants, animals, ecology and conservation.
Skills required: No specialist skills are required, you will just need to be comfortable with working outdoors.
- Training is provided in the correct and safe use of tools
- Tools and gloves are provided for volunteers
