What is the role: Director
Who for: Fairtrade at St Michaels
When: Meetings take place in the evening, once a month. There are other occasional activities.
Where: Meetings are held at the premises in Cornmarket Street, Oxford.
What is involved: As Director you will be part of the team involved with the strategic development of the fairtrade shop. The team provides financial, marketing and personnel support to a team of paid managers.

We are a cooperative and the team is very supportive and positive, and the shop atmosphere really delightful. You would be gaining experience in all sorts of areas of retail, and making excellent use of your own experience.
Skills required: An enthusiasm for and commitment to fairtrade is the most important. Professional experience in marketing, HR or retail would be an advantage, as would a willingness to help contribute to the day-to-day running of the shop from time to time.

- Experiences and training are available to help increase your knowledge about fairtrade and the running of the shop
References are required for this role. Given the role is as Director, we would like a commitment of one year as a minimum.
