What is the role: Maths Coach trax

Who for: Trax

When: Wednesday’s from 9.15 – 3pm

Where: Trax, Red Barn Farm, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 8JR

What is involved: You will plan and deliver maths sessions to small groups of young people working towards their Functional Skills Qualification

Why you should sign up: The young people Trax work with are disadvantaged and don’t fit into conventional schooling. Trax helps them to succeed, gain independence, self-belief and a route to employment. You will help them to find their way!

Skills required: It is hoped that volunteers will have Maths knowledge up to GCSE standard although they will not be teaching at that level

Support provided: Training is provided and expenses for travel are paid (up to £5 a day)

Please note that because you will be working with young people a DBS check will need to be completed.
