Oxfordshire Domestic Abuse Service (ODAS) offers emotional and practical support to victims experiencing or fleeing domestic abuse, honour based violence and forced marriages. We have a volunteer programme which is rewarding and gives individuals the opportunity to make a difference to people’s lives. At present we are looking to recruit volunteers for a variety of roles. Volunteering opportunities include helpline workers and administrator/fundraiser.
Our recruitment and selection process includes the completion of an application form, interview, the receipt of good references and a DBS check. The selection of volunteers will be based on skills, experience (not necessarily in the domestic abuse sector) and the extent to which the skills will meet the criteria for the role.
We support victims of different ages, genders, sexualities, faiths, cultures and backgrounds and are therefore welcoming of applicants from various backgrounds.
If you are interested in applying to become an ODAS volunteer please email for an application and information pack at email@example.com
