Would you like to gain work experience with an established Environmental Charity in Oxford?

The International Tree Foundation has just relocated to Oxford and moved to brand new offices in Summertown. We are looking for bright, hard-working and dedicated volunteers to fill three new part-time positions:

Volunteer Office Assistant

Volunteer Communications Assistant

Volunteer Fundraising Assistant

For each position we’d be looking for someone who might be able to commit to around 8 -10 hours a week. We would pay up to £5 per day for lunch plus reasonable travelling expenses.

Established in back in 1924 by Richard St Barbe Baker, ITF is leading efforts to halt and reverse deforestation in Africa while helping to improve the livelihoods of some of the world’s poorest communities through sustainable agroforestry. We also support community tree planting projects in the UK.

From the student’s point of view, this would be an opportunity to experience a dynamic working environment, build confidence and gain useful skills. This might be of particular interest to students who are studying subjects touching on environment, sustainable development, ecology, human rights etc and/or fund-raising, marketing and communications.
