Adviza is a registered charity whose aim is to inspire people to make better decisions that help them progress in learning and work. Our passion is to support young people at important times in their lives where key decisions need to be made. We deliver a range of projects on behalf of local authorities, public bodies and charities.

Independent Support is a national programme funded by the Department of Education as part of the measures associated with the recent Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Reforms September 2014.

We want to recruit volunteer Independent Supporters to work with young people in Oxfordshire.
We are looking for inspirational individuals who have a few hours each week and are keen to use their skills and experience to help young people with SEND and their parents going through an assessment for an Education, Health and Care plan. They will provide impartial independent information, advice and support.

This is an opportunity for anyone interested in SEN to help young people set out their hopes and aspirations, and support them in making decisions for their future. Adviza will provide full training, regular support and supervision.
